PrimaCat’s New Packaging

A fresh look, the same favourites

PrimaCat’s new, delightfully pink packaging will be gradually introduced in shops throughout 2026 and 2027. The recipes for our wet and dry foods, as well as the excellent quality of our cat litters, remain unchanged – so you can continue to find all your trusted favourites in our range.

Alongside the refresh, we have refined our packaging labels to make them even easier to understand. We have also reviewed and updated the information to ensure full compliance with the latest legislation.

A smooth transition with minimal packaging waste

Our new packaging will be introduced gradually: we will use up existing packaging first and then move to the new designs one product at a time. This approach helps us minimise packaging waste and conserve natural resources.
During the transition period, our multipacks may temporarily include both old and new designs of portion pouches.

Designed with cat owners in mind

The packaging update provided an excellent opportunity to respond to the wishes of cat owners. We conducted extensive research to understand how we could improve our packaging. The insights we gathered led to several enhancements, such as giving greater prominence to the texture of our wet food (gravy/jelly) on the packaging.

We have also made the cat’s life stage and specific needs (kitten, sterilised cat, senior) more clearly visible. In addition, different flavours are now highlighted with their own distinctive colours.

Thanks to the new unified pink colour scheme, you will find our products even more easily on store shelves!

Autumn 2026: new treats and senior recipe

Our new packaging design also introduces PrimaCat’s refreshed and even more tempting treat range. Crunchy Pillows, meaty Softies and versatile Sticks will have your cat purring for more! Our treats can be offered with peace of mind, even daily, as they are made without unnecessary grains or added sugar. They are perfect for enrichment, indulgence, or simply as a tasty topper to enhance everyday meals.

In addition, in autumn 2026 we will launch the long-awaited Senior wet food for cats aged 7–11. Our Senior 7+ recipe contains joint-supporting nutrients that help maintain mobility and wellbeing in ageing cats. It is a complete food, featuring delicious chicken in gravy.
